First week of course is nearly over. wahoo. today i have a very short day which just consists of an exam. let me explain the confusion ive been through.
First half of the year is animal care, second half of the year is more intense vet nursing. I thought i would apply for vet nursing closer to the time but apparently you had to apply at the start of the year. So everyone met on day one and we had a big team building thing at a camp then the next day they split us into 2 groups of 20- the animal care people and the people going on to vet nursing for the second half. There was already 4 or 5 people on the waiting list from my animal care class to get into vet nursing.
i talked to the tutor and explained my situation and she said she would try and get me into it, and i organised to do my work experience at maidstone vets which apparently is the best place to be doing it.
Next day we had the proper interview with the tutor to organise ordering stuff and work placements etc. The tutor had said that they were both very impressed with my confidence and drive (which im guessing is because im able to make everyone laugh when we were doing boring health and safety?) and that i'm pretty much in vet nursing and at the maidstone vets for work placement just dont tell anyone. Probably would have preffered not to hear that- makes me ego go high like a kite and i'm predicting it will destroy any initial charm they saw. But luckily i can get that charm back because of the PINK stethoscope that i ordered! and my awsum scrubs top. mwahaha ill be like the vet version of JD. or maybe perry. it's alot easier to be sarcastic to animals. just not as pleasing. the end.

Just watched the untouchables. I'm kevin costner! That movie made elliot ness look like an over-obsessive crazy person. Made capone look normal. except for the baseball bat bit. Afterwards i watched the theatrical trailer for it and it was quite amusing. it had that guy in all the cliche movies with that deep raspy voice. saying "Kevin Costner is Elliot Reed". anywho thats what i been doing. what have you been doing?

EDIT:: i just wrote elliot reed instead of elliot ness haha. i would change it but it's funny. and i wanna see him play a blonde skank doctor. why? because i can.

Im drinking a small bottle of something called "freekee:Sour squirt" it was in the lollies section at the dairy. It's like drinking strong, weird-tasting liquor except you only need a drop to make you cringe. im almost halfway through it though. Where's my birth certificate? WHERE?! It'll be somewhere lying around. probably under my bed but thats over 30cm out of my reach so meh. I need it to apply for a student loan for the course next year so i have more than stupid NZQA qualifications.

The choke cable on my car broke. It was already dicky so i think the handle was only connected to a couple of the inside wires and then they just snapped off one day. fuckin bitch wire.

Im ripping CD's. Did i say ripping? i meant gripping. Because i own them. yup.
Anyway, i borrowed my girl's cd wallet and it has christina aguilera. And i listened to alot of the songs without realising. Then afterwards i wanted to read those girl magazines like "Girlfriend" or "Cleo" or wateva they are called. The one's where they have people saying "OMG the other day i was sitting on my crush's knee and i had my period and i bled on his leg and stained his paints! he's never gonna talk to me again!" HOW EMBARASSING. I bet he was more concentrated on absorbing all the extra pheromones being produced during her 'flow'. What was i talking about? oh yeah dumb magazines. oh no wait... dumb christina aguilera. Dancing in the street with that hose between her legs and all that fake tan and makeup and belts for dresses. Time to cop- ahh BACKUP an eminem CD so i feel manly and gangzta again.

On the 30th of November (Thats THIS Thursday!!) it's my birthday. Yes that's right. My Birthday. My Girlfriend is getting me "Grand Theft Auto:Vice City Stories" for PSP (playstation portable) so I am greatly excited. Ahh the joys of being a geek with a girlfriend.
Hmm.. this post is not as random as my normal ones. I must be slipping in my old age.
I'm in such an unfunny mood. usually i amuse myself but currently i keep thinking i sound lame to other people- no matter how awesome i think i sound. Is this kinda what it's like to be emo? Or am i actually not funny?

There is an advertisement on the screen, whilst i write this, telling me to "Be a Goat!". It's quite forward of the advertisement to say that though. Would have been politer to say "Would you like to be a Goat?" or "Please be a Goat- You will rescue 10 goats from starvation if you do." but nooo, it's just "Be a Goat!". I'm not gonna be a goat just to see what happens. Because thats the kind of person i am. Why was i blogging again? Oh yeah- I'm awesome.

(the novelty of livejournal will wear off in a week or 2. or it'll grow exponentially. either way i still rock.)
